There’s a limit to Looney Tunes minifigures bought through LEGO.com

The latest series of Collectible Minifigures is available to order now at LEGO.com – but as expected, there’s a limit on how many bags of 71030 Looney Tunes you can buy.

Thankfully, that maximum number of minifigures is a very reasonable 20 in the UK and Europe, or a still-reasonable 16 in the US. With a total of 12 unique characters to collect, you’ve got pretty good odds of scoring a complete series with a single order of 20.

It’s worth bearing in mind that the limit isn’t just per order, but per household – so you can’t simply order multiple batches of 20. If you’ve already exceeded your limit and try to add extra minifigures to a subsequent purchase, you’ll likely find that your entire order is cancelled.

Given this is a blind-bagged series – just like all Collectible Minifigures launches – there’s no way to guarantee a full set beyond picking up an entire box from a third-party retailer (and even that carries its own risks, as we discovered with our review copy).

Of course, there’s also the tried-and-tested method of feeling out individual characters in stores, but that’s probably not wholly advisable in the current circumstances. If you happen to stumble upon a fresh box, keep our distribution guide to hand and you’ll hopefully be able to pick out a complete set without getting all touchy-feely.

If you’d rather just stay home (and nobody could blame you), 71030 Looney Tunes is available to order from LEGO.com right now. You can check out our review of each and every minifigure – including our once-missing Wile E. Coyote – right here.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
