Two upcoming LEGO gift-with-purchase sets revealed

Thanks to the official Building Instructions page, we now have the first details of two upcoming LEGO gift-with-purchase sets.

Earlier today saw the official reveal of 40683 Flower Trellis Display, a GWP set that may arriving as soon as next week. The plant-based model was first hinted at back in August 2023, alongside a number of other promotional builds rumoured to be available throughout 2024.

As well as 40683 Flower Trellis Display having been confirmed, first details of two more upcoming GWPs from last year’s list have also now been revealed. The official Building Instructions page has added listings for both 40685 Water Park and 40688 Trophy Award to the line-up of builds on the way sometime this year.

Although no images have been released so far, a previous rumour regarding 40685 Water Park suggested the set may feature two slides and a pair of child minifigures. One slide is said to have water pouring out of a barrel with a pink flag on one side, making it similar to 40473 LEGOLAND Water Park. The GWP is also rumoured to feature a couple of accessories including sun cream and a life preserver.

Rumours surrounding 40688 Trophy Award suggest that the promotional build may be akin to 2020’s 40385 Trophy (as shown in the featured image for this story), although the upcoming GWP is said to feature a red stand instead. In addition, 40688 Trophy Award is reported to have a similar 200-piece count, although there’s currently no information on whether you’ll be able to customise the upcoming set too.

Do note that the speculation regarding the actual contents of both 40685 Water Park and 40688 Trophy Award should obviously be taken with a pinch of salt for now.

Multiple GWPs have been confirmed or rumoured to be arriving on April 1, with the likes of 5008325 Mimic Dice Box, 40683 Flower Trellis Display and 40681 Retro Food Truck all potentially available with various spending thresholds.
