Two LEGO Marvel sets listed at online retailer for 2022 launch

More LEGO Marvel sets are confirmed to be on the way, and listings for two potentially upcoming builds may have revealed more details.

An official LEGO catalogue for 2022 has already revealed that at least one set based on Thor: Love and Thunder is coming later this year. However, listings spotted on electricBricks – an online retailer – may indicate that the LEGO Group has plans for two more beyond the film.

You can take a look at the listings yourself by clicking on the links below, but we’ve also summarised the available information for these potential models:

76220 – 43 pieces, August 1
76221 – 456 pieces, August 1

Currently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie release calendar for 2022 includes Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 6, Thor: Love and Thunder on July 8, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on November 11. Given the listed release date for 76220 and 76221, it could be that at least one of these two sets is based on the Black Panther sequel to launch ahead of the film’s release.

Also available to watch later this year is Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse on October 7, though have been no sets based on the animated franchise so far.

The LEGO Group has not officially confirmed these two builds and they should be treated as a rumour until an announcement can be made. In the meantime, a new set has been released on the online store for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness with the first minifigure of America Chavez.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
