Two new LEGO Marvel or DC helmets rumoured for 2023
A brand new pair of LEGO helmets, busts or cowls anchored around Marvel or DC are reportedly on the way in 2023, following in the footsteps of sets like 76199 Carnage and 76182 Batman Cowl.
While there have been zero new additions to the Super Heroes theme’s take on the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection in 2022, the LEGO Group will apparently be revisiting the concept next year with two new sets. That’s according to YouTuber Brick Clicker, who reports that product numbers 76250 and 76251 will both belong to new busts, helmets or cowls.
There’s no word yet on whether those will be from Marvel or DC specifically (or perhaps one apiece), which leaves the door open to plenty of possibilities. The current range of superhero display sets in this subtheme includes 76165 Iron Man Helmet, 76187 Venom, 76199 Carnage, 76182 Batman Cowl and 76238 Classic TV Series Batman Cowl.
Next year’s sets are rumoured to come in at $70 and $80 respectively. None of the Marvel or DC sets so far have climbed as high as $80, but 76187 Venom retails for $69.99 in the US. For a true comparison to the higher price point, we have to look to the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection’s 75304 Darth Vader Helmet, which currently retails for $79.99.
These two new Marvel or DC sets – should they exist at all – would therefore be among the most expensive busts, helmets or cowls in the superhero theme so far. But they’d still be much cheaper than 76215 Black Panther, and would be proof positive that the LEGO Group is still happy to deliver brick-built sculptures at a smaller scale (and, therefore, a more accessible price point).
Check out the table below for a round-up of the limited info we have so far about these new two superhero sets, but remember that they’re just rumours for now, and should be taken lightly until confirmed by the LEGO Group.
LEGO set | Price | Pieces | Release date |
---|---|---|---|
76250 TBC | $70 | TBC | TBC 2023 |
76251 TBC | $80 | TBC | TBC 2023 |

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
