Watch drivers react to 16 feet tall LEGO Formula 1 track
As consistently teased across socials and in the recent livestream, real Formula 1 drivers have reacted to a colossal LEGO Formula 1 track.
The LEGO Group has finally uploaded the long-teased LEGO Build the Thrill race track video to YouTube, revealing one of the most visually impressive creations of all time, with some reactions from Formula 1 drivers, including Esteban Ocon and Charles Leclerc.
The video’s production quality is noticeably higher than other official LEGO videos, bearing a striking resemblance to a real Formula 1 race with accompanying graphics, commentary and more that make it shockingly comparable to real races – just with the addition of a loop, giant lizard and more.
The reactions from the real Formula 1 drivers aren’t quite as exciting as those of Nigel Mansell from when he was introduced to his corresponding set and minifigure – 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell.
The LEGO Group has also finally uploaded the full mini-documentary tying into 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell this week, and it’s a must-watch for Formula 1 enthusiasts.
Both impressive videos showcase just how extensive the LEGO Group’s partnership is with Formula 1 as part of this multi-year collaboration, and it will be interesting to see how these initial campaigns compare to any from the years to come.
In the meantime, the partnership is in full swing for 2025 following the recent release of the highlights of the LEGO Formula 1 collection – the 10 Speed Champions cars at the start of this month. Click here to take a look at the selection by the numbers and here for a display solution.
