What’s next for LEGO Pokémon in 2026?

LEGO Pokémon officially starts next month with five sets, but rumours suggest that there’s plenty more on the way this year.

72151 Eevee, 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball and 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, as well as the promotional 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection and 40911 Mini Pokémon Center, are all launching on February 27. This will mark the official start of LEGO Pokémon products, aiming to appeal to older enthusiasts initially.

Those hoping for more affordable, or child-aimed LEGO Pokémon sets are without options for now, aside from 72151 Eevee being £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99. Rumours from late last year state that the LEGO Group has plenty of other Pokémon models planned. These are said to bring in many Pokémon from later generations and with names that align with play-focused sets much more than the first three that have been revealed.

Whether these will be for younger enthusiasts or more affordably priced has yet to be rumoured, though they are reported for release during the summer. The table below includes rumours, which should be taken with a pinch of salt.

The LEGO Group’s official response for queries regarding LEGO Pokémon sets for kids, taken from LEGO.com, reads: ‘These first three LEGO Pokémon sets are display pieces aimed at adult collectors. We’re always releasing new sets across all our themes, however, so do check again in the future to see what’s new.’

Pre-orders for the first three LEGO Pokémon sets are open now, ahead of February 27. The exclusive 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection gift will return on launch day, though how long it will last is unknown. While we wait to find out about any future sets in the theme, click here for everything you need to know about this partnership.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
