LEGO Star Wars Solo 75212 Kessel Run Millennium Falcon revealed
The first LEGO set based on Solo: A Star Wars Story has been revealed, and it is 75212 Kessel Run Millennium Falcon.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is coming to cinemas this May, and on April 20, a new wave of LEGO Star Wars sets will be arriving in stores. The largest of them all will be 75212 Kessel Run Millennium Falcon, made up of 1,414 pieces and retailing for $169.99 in the US.
Hollywood Reporter has revealed these first images of the set, that will include Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, a Kessel droid – and mysteriously, two unnamed characters.
Here is the official description, presumably provided to the website by the LEGO Group:
Pull amazing maneuvers from the cockpit. Jump in the laser turrets and fire back at pursuing craft. Then check the hyperdrive and get ready to jump to safety! After all that excitement, kick back with Han and his friends with a drink from the bar, while you let Chewbacca win at Dejarik. Then it’s off to bed for a well-earned snooze in the bunk aboard the fastest ship in the galaxy!
As the images show, the Millennium Falcon looks very different to the version that fans encountered in A New Hope.
Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released on May 25. The LEGO Star Wars sets based on the film will launch on April 20. The current range of LEGO Star Wars sets are available at shop.LEGO.com, with double points for Star Wars VIP card holders during February.
