20% off 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone at John Lewis

The first proper LEGO Sonic set is currently available with £12 off on the John Lewis website.

Released earlier this year, 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone is an impressive set featuring SEGA’s spiky blue mascot. It normally retails for £59.99, but John Lewis are offering it for £47.99 right now.

Drawing inspiration from the 1991 Sonic game, 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone includes many familiar features from that title. The checkerboard terrain, loop and floating platforms of Green Hill Zone are all referenced here, as are the more game-y elements like rings and item boxes. Dr Robotnik and two of his Badniks are also included, as is a new version of Sonic himself.

Sonic can be displayed with the seven Chaos Emeralds on a bespoke display stand. The new Sonic minifigure is also very desirable on its own merits, offering better printing and more accurate colours than the original Sonic minifigure.

As such, 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone is a great option for Sonic fans. Keep in mind this price tag puts it just under the free delivery threshold at John Lewis. That said, a number of other LEGO discounts on the site might make clearing that threshold easier than you think.
