75340 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar box art revealed
Thanks to an official catalogue, we now have our first look at the front box art for the upcoming 75340 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.
Last week saw the release of a teaser image from the official German 2HY catalogue that may hint at possible LEGO Marvel Black Panther sets arriving later in 2022. The same online catalogue has also provided us with our first look at the front box art for the upcoming 75340 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.
The set was recently confirmed at this year’s Star Wars Celebration Anaheim event, as was one of the exclusive included minifigures, Darth Vader in a beach outfit. The price of the set is shown in the catalogue as being €34.99, with a release date of September.
The front box art also confirms the set’s number (75340) and at least some of the 24 minifigures and mini models available in this year’s annual offering. These include the aforementioned Darth Vader in a beach outfit (as seen in the recent LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation trailer), plus R2-D2 with a C-3PO sweater and C-3PO with an R2-D2 sweater.
Other models glimpsed on the box are a Santa GONK droid, Darth Vader’s Sandcastle, moisture vaporator, TIE Interceptor, Bad Batch Attack Shuttle, Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder and T-16 Skyhopper. The front artwork for the set features the Ewok village on Endor, complete with plenty of snow, festive lights and a Christmas tree.
In addition to the Star Wars offering, similar advent calendar sets for LEGO CITY, Harry Potter and Friends have previously appeared in a LEGO Taiwan catalogue. Rumours suggest that this year’s advent calendar line-up may also include Marvel and Guardians of the Galaxy sets, but this has yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group to date, so do treat that information with caution for now.
