Five LEGO Star Wars minifigures we need from Obi-Wan Kenobi

The new Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer was filled with fresh and familiar faces for Star Wars, including some we need to see as LEGO minifigures.

We’ve already covered a collection of characters from Obi-Wan Kenobi that you can buy right now between the online store and the secondary market, but what about minifigures that we haven’t got yet?

From someone who appeared in the very first Star Wars film to the newest baddie in the galaxy, here are five LEGO Star Wars minifigures we need from Obi-Wan Kenobi.

5 – An updated Obi-Wan Kenobi

This first slot might be considered cheating but it’s hard to imagine any brick-built representation for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series without an updated minifigure of the Jedi.

We’ve seen minifigures for his younger prequel, older prequel and original trilogy eras, but a new iteration representing the time between the prequel and original trilogy could help to showcase the weathered nature of Obi-Wan Kenobi as he is on the run from the Empire while protecting the next generation of the Jedi order.

4 – Reva

As the latest villain from a galaxy far, far away, Reva is a member of the Inquisitorius, a legion of Jedi hunters trained by Darth Vader. This team is no stranger to LEGO sets thanks to their minifigure debut as part of the Star Wars Rebels waves, so the latest member would help in the quest to one day complete the set.

Reva features a design similar to other Inquisitors, wearing a black uniform, meaning a minifigure of her might not be too hard for the LEGO Star Wars design team to achieve. You might have noticed that the scene pictured above has her holding a lightsaber that isn’t of the ringed style of the Inquisitorius, suggesting that there may be another Jedi in the series other than Obi-Wan Kenobi.

3 – The ‘NED’ droid

Rather than simply call this droid ‘droid’, we’ve translated the Aurabesh on his chest and nicknamed them Ned.

While they only have a brief moment in the teaser trailer, the LEGO Group have a history of creating new minifigures for obscure droids and the design of this model looks similar enough to K-2SO where it could see the specialised element be brought out of retirement.

2 – Aunt Beru

Owen Lars isn’t the only paternal figure of Luke Skywalker to appear in the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer as a quick scene featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi looking down at the home of the future Jedi sees Aunt Beru walk out of the abode, confirming her presence in the series.

This could present an opportunity to get the first Aunt Beru minifigure in the history of LEGO Star Wars to pair with Owen Lars, even if she is a bit younger than the current Owen Lars minifigure from 75059 Sandcrawler.

1 – The mystery Inquisitor

Another new Inquisitor appears in the trailer other than Reva, with tubes from a headpiece attached to the chest piece of the uniform.

We see them appear at least twice in the trailer, suggesting that they may have a larger role in the series, which looks to be exploring the Jedi hunters just as much as it likely will Obi-Wan Kenobi.
