LEGO Star Wars exclusives lottery at Celebration Orlando
LEGO fans attending Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida will have a slim chance of taking home some exclusive products. Although the sets haven’t been announced, attendees are offered the chance to buy them by filling in an online form.
Any attending fans who fill in the online form will be entered into a lottery – the select few who win will then be awarded a date and time slot to go and buy the LEGO exclusives. The time slots are non-transferable and IDs will be checked, so those who do get selected should hope they do not have other plans at the same time.
A similar process has been put in place to distribute exclusive products from Funko at the event too, suggesting that this is an attempt to address the issue of fans getting an opportunity to buy exclusive products. Previous events have seen the line for LEGO exclusives fill up within ten minutes of the show opening each morning, before most attendees have made it into the exhibition hall.
Star Wars Celebration Orlando takes pace from April 13 to 16, opening with a celebration of 40 years of Star Wars. Other panels include a peek at The Last Jedi, LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures and a look behind the scenes at the LEGO Star Wars product line.
