Invasion of the Giants LEGO exhibition launches in Croatia
In Zagreb, Croatia, a LEGO exhibition named Invasion of the Giants has opened its doors to brick fans young and old.
From August 4 until September 30, visitors to Zagreb, Croatia, can check out an exhibit of more than 100 LEGO models. Invasion of the Giants is part of the Zagreb Fair, tportal reports.
There are 12 themed areas as part of the 2,500 square metre exhibition space. It includes 1:1 models of famous and talented individuals from sports, movies and fairy tales, including a life sized 1990s Batmobile with Batman sculpture. It is accompanied by a 270,000 brick recreation of Gotham City.
A 1:25 scale model of the Titanic uses half a million bricks, with a viewable interior. Contemporary architecture models include the Taj Mahal, London Tower, Sydney Opera House and the Rome Forum.
The Human Body Zone focuses on the anatomy of the human form, with an educational slant. Star Wars also has a dedicated section, with 100 builds based on the galaxy far, far away. Other zones include fantasy, super heroes and fairy tales.
The event will run until September 30.
