How to make a giant LEGO sword and shield
YouTube channel Punished Props Academy has shared a video showing how to make an adult sized LEGO sword and shield.
Some of the most iconic minifigure accessories in the LEGO range are the classic sword and shield elements that have been part of the Castle theme over the years. In this new video from Punished Props Academy, Bill Doran gives a full tutorial how to make giant versions of the tiny pieces. It is packed with useful tips and demonstrations, making the process look surprisingly easy – it is all done using equipment and materials available to the average handy fan, with no 3D printer in sight.
When complete, the impressively accurate looking sword and shield are full-sized versions of the original pieces that are the right size for an adult to hold. Even the intricate lion logo on the shield is pretty accurately recreated. The pair of accessories are classic pieces that were introduced in the LEGO Castle theme.
If any LEGO fans choose to make their own enviable giant minifigure accessories, be sure to share the results with Brick Fanatics.
