The LEGO Movie stars share coronavirus message
Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks have reprised their The LEGO Movie roles of Emmet and Lucy in an animated video to advise children on how to protect against the coronavirus.
In an animated clip shared by the LEGO Group, Emmet and Lucy share the key messages relating to cleanliness to help reduce the risk of catching and spreading the coronavirus. Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks have reprised their roles from The LEGO Movie to share the message.
It follows a similar video starring Will Arnett as LEGO Batman.
Despite the importance of what they are explaining, there is still room for the kind of humour that The LEGO Movie and its sequels are known for,
Emmet declares: “…the coronavirus novel. I admit I didn’t read the other 18 books in the series.”
Using a simple song, the characters explain the key messages – stay at home, washing hands, coughing or sneezing into your elbow and avoiding touching your face.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the animation was remotely produced by Pure Imagination in a matter of weeks, with the actors recording remotely.
