Live LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor gets live demo today
At 4.00pm today UK time, Smyths Toys will host a livestream demo of LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor with Senior Design Manager Daniel Meehan.
There’s a new generation of LEGO MINDSTORMS this year, with 51515 Robot Inventor offering a way to create incredible working robots within the LEGO system using modern technology. The set launched recently in time for Christmas gift giving.
LEGO Senior Design Manager Daniel Meehan will be appearing live at 4.00pm UK time today, with Smyths Toys hosting the design expert on Instagram. He’ll show off the new set and maybe even reveal a few tips and trick for fans to try.
The 949 piece set is priced at £329.99 in the UK and $359.99 in the US.
“In developing the product, we looked back at what has made MINDSTORMS great for all these years. Why do kids and adults love the product and continue to build and code amazing creations? What had previous MINDSTORMS generations and products done well, and where could we improve and enhance the experience? Very quickly in our journey we settled on two things that were really important. One was robotics and the other was open creativity,” Dan said when he unveiled the set.
