All aboard LEGO Harry Potter 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition today

LEGO Harry Potter 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition is available now, bringing the train to life at a scale never seen before. 

76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition is easily the largest LEGO version of the Hogwarts Express to date and you can add the massive model to your collection today, August 31, 2022. You won’t need to bother with setting up an existing track-based display for this train though, as it’s simply too big. 

Instead, a brick-built section of track is provided that can attach to a section of King’s Cross station and specifically Platform 9 3/4. The train itself features the main engine, tender and one carriage. Inside that carriage, multiple scenes from across the Harry Potter films are recreated with a light brick to shine down on the minifigures and a quote to go alongside it.

At the top of the engine, a crank can be inserted to spin the wheels, showcasing the technical side of the model. Note that there are a few errors in 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition but the LEGO Group has promised to resolve them for future copies of the model. 

For now, those who don’t mind the errors and are willing to contact customer service for a fix can find the new LEGO Harry Potter set on the official online store.
