Alternate LEGO Ideas 21339 BTS Dynamite build designs revealed

Four distinct alternate build designs based around LEGO Ideas 21339 BTS Dynamite have been revealed by the LEGO Group.

21339 BTS Dynamite launched on March 1, 2023, with the highly-anticipated 749-piece LEGO Ideas set proving to be incredibly popular, popping in and out of stock since its release. The model is based on the band’s smash hit video, which has managed to clock up over one-and-a-half billion views on YouTube to date.

For those who’ve already managed to pick up 21339 BTS Dynamite (and avoided greedy scalpers), the LEGO Group has now revealed four alternate designs for the model to inspire builders further. Images of the new designs have appeared on the company’s social media platforms, although the instructions for the alternate creations haven’t been made available yet. The product information page on the official online store for 21339 BTS Dynamite does mention VIP members can grab a digital download to make their own LEGO donut, but sadly the link only leads to the Rewards Centre.

The alternate designs for 21339 BTS Dynamite showcase one model that creates a backdrop with the set’s basketball court and ice cream truck, a disco-themed mobile device stand, a concert stage that seems to be inspired by 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave, and a donut shop pen holder with photo frame. Some similar building instructions were made available for LEGO CON 2022, so it’s possible that details of the alternate LEGO Ideas models could be added at some point soon.

21339 BTS Dynamite is available to purchase right now and priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. To find out more information about the pop-based build, be sure to check out our in-depth review right here.
