Join Brick Fanatics at the secret LEGO Fortnite preview event

As LEGO Fortnite goes live, join Brick Fanatics in New York City as we go hands on with the game and chat to its developers.

The LEGO Group and Epic Games pulled back the curtain on LEGO Fortnite today, with the all-new game mode being the first endeavour between the two creative companies. The survival crafting experience can be located from the main Fortnite lobby and gives players access to a vast open world of brick-based possibilities.

There’s a distinct emphasis on crafting and creating in LEGO Fortnite, with the ability to gather resources, make tools and construct items either on your own or with up to seven friends. At first glance that may suggest Fortnite has gone full Minecraft, but there’s much more to the new game mode than meets the eye.

Brick Fanatics recently had the opportunity to attend a secret LEGO Fortnite preview event in New York City, where our very own Matthew had the chance to try the new mode firsthand and chat to the developers behind the game’s latest update.

The preview event included a discussion with the Creative Director of Fortnite regarding his surprise LEGO obsession, if physical LEGO Fortnite sets might be on the horizon at some point and a free LEGO Loot Llama model was also up for grabs.
