Brick Pic of the Day: Death of a Dark Lord

Vader’s funeral pyre is a shot from Return of the Jedi that I’ve wanted to recreate for a long time. For the close up I used a lot of trans-orange flame pieces and shone a light through them in order to illuminate them. I placed a dark green plate in the background just to add a hint of colour.

For the wider shot I removed the dark green plate and used a black backdrop and reflective floor – I think they both came out pretty well.
