Plenty of details emerge from The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer

The trailer for The Mandalorian’s third season has been shown as part of Star Wars Celebration, giving us tantalising clues as to what future LEGO sets could look like.

The Mandalorian has proven something of a jewel in the Star Wars crown, following bounty hunter Din Djarin and young ward Grogu as they travel through the Star Wars galaxy. A trailer for the show’s third season has recently emerged from Star Wars Celebration – a massive event dedicated to new projects in the Star Wars franchise.

Although the trailer hasn’t been released to non-attendees yet, people who saw it have been summarising it online for the rest of us. So far, we know that Mando is returning to Mandalore to be redeemed for his transgressions (presumably removing his helmet, which old ally the Armorer was irate about). However, it won’t be smooth sailing when he gets there; it’s implied that Bo-Katan Kryze will be the antagonist of the show this time around.

Trailer footage shows Bo-Katan sitting on a throne, and telling Grogu there’s more than one Mandalorian in the galaxy. But – perhaps most importantly – former magistrate Greef Karga gets a great new outfit.

Recent LEGO Star Wars sets have touched upon the Mandalorians on a couple of occasions. 75316 Mandalorian Starfighter recreates a ship used by the warrior faction, including minifigures of Bo-Katan and Maul loyalist Gar Saxon. 75310 Duel on Mandalore, meanwhile, recreates the climactic showdown between Ahsoka Tano and Darth Maul in the final season of The Clone Wars. Mandalore’s throne is also included in this set.

As such, you can prepare for the return of The Mandalorian by picking up these sets (as well as others like 75319 The Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge and 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, elements of each seemingly appearing in the show to come). However, you can count on The Mandalorian’s third season getting sets of its own, if its tie-ins for the first two seasons are any indication.
