Dive into the next LEGO CITY Giant Series magazine with rare polybag

The new issue of the LEGO Giant Series Magazine has been revealed to be themed to CITY with a hard-to-find 2020 polybag and a rare piece.

The LEGO Giant Series magazine can provide a great and easy way to get some polybags that otherwise, might be very hard to acquire. The series has been continuing since its debut in 2018. That most recent issue is now available and comes with an older polybag with a piece that has yet to feature outside of the Deep Sea Explorers subtheme.

30370 Diver comes with issue 15 of the LEGO Giant Series magazine, which itself features comics, puzzles and more aimed at a younger audience. The polybag features a minifigure with a unique moulded diving helmet as well as a small scooter and rock formation. However, the presence of a rare LEGO animal makes this a tempting polybag to score.

The Stingray piece only appeared in three sets of 2020 and was recoloured for NINJAGO this summer for 71756 Hydro Bounty. However, the original, less fantastical version remains exclusive to the Deep Sea Explorers subtheme.

Considering that the other two sets where the LEGO stingray was available – 60265 Ocean Exploration Base and 60266 Ocean Exploration Ship – were both considerably more expensive than the polybag, there might not be a better way to introduce more marine life to your collection.

The LEGO CITY Giant Series Magazine will be available until August 18 when NINJAGO will become the subject for the next issue, or whilst stocks last. Like most LEGO magazines, it should be available in most supermarkets and newsagents. For more on the subtheme, check out a newly discovered Easter egg in the largest set.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
