Double VIP points is back at LEGO.com for three days only

The LEGO Group’s double VIP points promo is coming back later this week, but only for a brief three-day window.

From tomorrow (December 10) through Sunday (December 12), you’ll be able to secure twice the usual number of VIP points on everything at LEGO.com. That’s according to the latest VIP newsletter, which gives no indication as to whether the offer will also be available in-store this weekend.

Double VIP points is equivalent to 10% cashback to spend on future purchases, which is pretty handy for those huge sets that won’t see discounts elsewhere. Of course, most of them are out of stock right now, but it makes this weekend a great time to pick up 75313 AT-AT, which is still available in the UK and Europe.

Doing so from tomorrow through Sunday will net you a huge £70 / €80 back in points to spend on rewards vouchers, which can then be used to claim discounts on even more LEGO – just in time for your Christmas shopping. (Even if it’s for yourself – you deserve it! Probably.)

If you haven’t joined the LEGO Group’s loyalty program yet, head over to LEGO.com and sign up. It’s free to do so, and you’ll earn exclusive benefits including VIP points, early access to sets and limited-edition rewards. If you sign up before the end of the year, you’ll also receive a free blue VIP keychain.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
