Early look at LEGO Marvel 76260 Black Widow & Captain America Motorcycles

An early review of an upcoming LEGO Marvel set compliments the impressive minifigures – but still doesn’t rate it worth the price.

One of the smaller sets in the upcoming LEGO Marvel summer wave, 76260 Black Wdiow & Captain America Motorcycles, might come with a low price tag, but its value is still being questioned. LEGO YouTuber Duck Bricks got his hands on the set ahead of its June 1 release and questioned whether, despite offering two strong minifigures, it’s worth the expected $16 price tag (£12.99 here in the UK).

Despite complimenting the overall look of Black Widow, with arm and leg printing, and the updated hair piece for Steve Rogers’ Captain America, Duck Bricks was still overall disappointed with what you get for the price.

“I honestly feel that $16 is a little high for what you get,” commented the YouTuber. “This feels more like $10 set.”

“This [Black Widow] is a really solid minifigure, but they feel just a little bit over polybag builds,” he concluded.

Indeed, this reflects a general sentiment among LEGO fans that the prices are simply too high for what you get, with similar recent criticism levelled at LEGO Batman 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box when fans got to see the upcoming set in full. 2022 saw widespread price increases, despite the LEGO Group later reporting record profits.
