Every LEGO set in Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 is in stock and available now

Every LEGO set in Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 is now in stock and available with immediate delivery, including several that have spent weeks or months on back order.

Our Top 20 LEGO Sets List tracks the very best products currently available at LEGO.com in the UK. If a set that would otherwise be in the list is temporarily out of stock – such as 10294 Titanic or 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck – it drops out of the list, to be replaced by a model on the fringes of our ideal Top 20. But if it’s only on back order, and is therefore available to purchase, it makes the cut.

Fortunately, none of the current Top 20 sets are on back order at the time of writing, which is a real rarity for some of the more popular products – including 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 10311 Orchid, 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens and 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine, all of which have collectively shifted to ‘available now’ within the past 24 hours.

Sets that were once difficult to come by are therefore now readily available – a fact that we’re sure the recent price increases definitely have nothing to do with. Really, it’s difficult to ignore the fact that three of the four aforementioned sets (all but the Botanical Collection’s 10311 Orchid) jumped in price pretty sharply in the UK and Europe at the beginning of September.

71741 NINJAGO City Gardens, for instance, now costs £299.99 / €349.99 – a £35 / €50 increase on its previous RRP of £264.99 / €299.99. 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine has experienced a similarly seismic shift, leaping from £149.99 / €169.99 to £169.99 / €199.99, while 21325 Medieval Blacksmith has risen to £159.99 / €179.99 – or £30 / €30 more than it retailed for on August 31.

The good news is that if you don’t mind biting the bullet on those higher prices, you won’t have to wait around for your set to turn up (beyond the usual delivery timeframes). But in the context of all things LEGO right now, that’s perhaps stretching the definition of ‘good news’…

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
