Every LEGO Winter Village set ever made – October 2023

10325 Alpine Lodge is the latest in one of the biggest LEGO set collections – the Winter Village – with over 13 years’ worth of sets to display.

One week after 10325 Alpine Lodge has launched and with a LEGO Insiders double points event near, you might want to catch up on the LEGO Winter Village Collection, be it a few sets or all 15. Alternatively, 40596 Magic Maze is available for a little bit longer if you want them sooner rather than later.

These seasonal sets are a favourite of many LEGO enthusiasts, making up festive displays at the end of the year and each intermingling with one another, no matter how old some are compared to others.

While there are a few sets in the collection currently available, catching up on the entirety of the LEGO Winter Village collection will require a bigger budget. For those new to the range or just want a reminder of where we’ve come from, here’s every LEGO Winter Village ever made – now updated with 10325 Alpine Lodge.

The first LEGO Winter Village set is 10199 Winter Village Toy Shop from 2009 and looking at it next to recent releases, suffice to say its age is showing despite the attention to detail..

14 – 10216 Winter Village Bakery

Year: 2010 Pieces: 687 Minifigures: 7 Price: £50.99 / $54.99 / €54.99

A bakery was next to be released with some creative building techniques including a minifigure sticking out of snow after an unfortunate skating accident. This would be the start of a relatively small collection of skating-focused builds in the LEGO Winter Village.

13 – 10222 Winter Village Post Office

Year: 2011 Pieces: 822 Minifigures: 7 Price: £49.99 / $69.99 / €69.99

12 – 10229 Winter Village Cottage

Year: 2012 Pieces: 1,490 Minifigures: 8 Price: £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99

Arguably one of the best sets to pair with 10325 Alpine Lodge for its homely nature, 10299 Winter Village Cottage was 2012’s addition to the range.

11 – 10235 Winter Village Market

Year: 2013 Pieces: 1,261 Minifigures: 9 Price: £79.99 / $99.99 / €99.99

10 – 10245 Santa’s Workshop

Year: 2014 Pieces: 883 Minifigures: 6 Price: £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99

9 – 10249 Winter Toy Shop

Year: 2015 Pieces: 898 Minifigures: 8 Price: £64.99 / $79.99 / €69.99

8 – 10254 Winter Holiday Train

Year: 2016 Pieces: 734 Minifigures: 5 Price: £74.99 / $99.99 / €89.99

Arriving before its accompanying set the following year, 10254 Winter Holiday Train is one of the most unique entries into the LEGO Winter Village Collection so far but is far from the only seasonal LEGO train set – though they mostly consist of polybags.

7 – 10259 Winter Village station

Year: 2017 Pieces: 902 Minifigures: 5 Price: £74.99 / $79.99 / €69.99

One year after 10254 Winter Holiday Train, a station for the festive transportation to pull into was released, though it’s just as compatible with more realistic LEGO trains for those who prefer a more accurate and conceivable Winter Village display.

6 – 10263 Winter Village Fire Station

Year: 2018 Pieces: 1,166 Minifigures: 8 Price: £84.99 / $99.99 / €89.99

Fire safety is just as important in the winter in the LEGO collection as 10263 Winter Village Fire Station launched in 2018. There’s even a reference to the brick-built saxophone in 10222 Winter Village Post Office using a newer element.

Santa returned to the LEGO Winter Village in 2021 with the release of 10293 Santa’s Visit, the oldest set in the collection to still be available on LEGO.com and in LEGO stores. Due to this, it’s retiring later this year but its legacy will live on in the consistent £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 price point that it debuted for the collection.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
