First details of 76178 Daily Bugle revealed by online retailer

An online retailer has revealed the first details of LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle including the featured minifigures, release date and the builds of the set itself.

JB Spielwaren has now listed LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle, potentially revealing the allegedly huge LEGO Marvel model. This comes after the retailer unveiled the first look at the Speed Champions summer sets.

We’ve yet to receive an announcement of the rumoured set from the LEGO Group but according to the retailer, it will be made up of 3,772 pieces and depict a tall building reminiscent of Ghostbusters 75827 Firehouse Headquarters. However, that may not be the only build in the set as a New York taxi and a newstand is also listed as included.

Supposedly, the building will be a facade that is crowned by the Daily Bugle logo with several new and old minifigures. The cast reportedly includes characters such as Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Mysterio, Carnage, Venom, Daredevil, Punisher and more. This lines up with previous rumours that suggested the last two heroes would be part of the model.

We’ll let you know as soon as we know more about 76178 Daily Bugle, but JB Spielwaren has listed the set with a release date of June 1 or June 2, as well as a price of €999.99 – which is likely, and hopefully a placeholder. Should the listing be accurate, it seems that there may not be long to go until a LEGO J. Jonah Jameson is hounding builders for pictures of Spider-Man.
