First LEGO 2025 set spotted – and shrouded in mystery

In what might be a new record for the earliest sighting ever, we’ve got our first look (sort of) at a LEGO set billed for release in 2025.

Admittedly, it’s a fairly bare-bones look but the LEGO Group’s official Building Instructions page has got a new listing, slated for release in 2025. There are no pictures, instructions, or indeed a set name, only the set number of 10359.

That would suggest that the set will join the LEGO Icons theme – which means it could end up being virtually anything. LEGO Icons is described by the LEGO Group as the home of “impressive landmarks, modular buildings, classic vehicles, pop culture favourites and beautiful home decor sets”, leaving a wealth of possibilities for what’s in store.

Whether it’s a new modular, another addition to the ever-growing Botanical Collection, a foray into a new IP a la 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter, or a welcome return to an old favourite like 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell, we’ll have to wait until next year to be sure. It’s unlikely that the appearance on the Building Instructions page means that the set is scheduled for an early reveal, although the LEGO Group did unveil the new LEGO Animal Crossing theme a good five months ahead of its launch. Never say never!
