First LEGO Fortnite minifigure officially revealed

The official online LEGO store in Japan has revealed the first LEGO Fortnite minifigure ahead of a collaboration with the multiplayer game.

The homepage of LEGO.com in Japan has been updated (as well as that of Australia) with a surprising minifigure. While the line-up of highlights in the red banner usually includes offers, seasonal sets and more, the LEGO Group's teams in Japan and Australia seem ready for the Fortnite Big Bang event (which has the LEGO Llama in its key art) and have revealed a familiar character in minifigure form alongside a LEGO Fortnite caption.

This pink minifigure appears to be a LEGO recreation of the Cuddle Team Leader skin in Fortnite, with leg printing on the sides and a unique moulded head element. There is no evidence to suggest that this minifigure will be released physically at this time and it may be for the LEGO Fortnite collaboration only.

However, it's an interesting revelation following the reveal of a Loot Llama model on the certification page and then in Fortnite itself. Still, it might be wise to keep expectations in check until more is officially revealed. For now, there appears to be a minifigure head underneath the pink bear head piece.

The link that is attached to this portion of the homepage is not working at the time of writing, though a LEGO Fortnite page is already set up on LEGO.com featuring the Llama teaser shared previously. The Fortnite Big Bang live event takes place in-game tomorrow at 7pm GMT. You can connect your LEGO account to your Epic Games account now as well.
