The five largest LEGO Star Wars X-wing Starfighters created to date

With 75355 X-wing Starfighter now officially revealed, here are the five largest versions of the iconic LEGO Star Wars ship created to date.

The LEGO Group revealed its latest LEGO Star Wars UCS set yesterday, with 75355 X-wing Starfighter launching on May 1 for VIPs and for everyone else on May 4. Priced at £209.99 / $239.99 / €239.99, the 1,949-piece build measures 55cm long, 27cm tall and 44cm wide, making it the largest version of Luke Skywalker’s T-65 that’s been created so far.

However, it’s not the only iteration of the Rebel craft that’s packed on plenty of brick-based elements. There have been numerous LEGO Star Wars X-wing Starfighters released over the years, but here are the five models that top the charts in terms of sheer size.

5 – 75273 Poe Dameron’s X-wing Fighter

Clocking in at 744 pieces, Poe Dameron’s signature ship landed in 2020 and was based on the vehicle’s appearance in The Rise of Skywalker. The build included the X-wing itself, as well as minifigures of Poe Dameron, Jannah and Vicrul, plus an R2-D2 figure.

4 – 4002019 Christmas X-wing

This highly-desirable set was gifted to LEGO employees in 2019 and now costs a pretty penny on the secondary market (if you can find it, that is). Boasting 1,025 pieces, the festive-themed X-wing came with unique Master Yoda and Yuletide Squadron Pilot minifigures, plus Artoo once more.

3 – 7191 X-wing Fighter

The first Ultimate Collector Series version of the iconic ship, 7191 X-wing Fighter arrived in 2000 and was a 1,300 piece build. Although R2-D2 was once again trotted out for the set, there were no other minifigures included with the UCS build.

2 – 10240 Red Five X-wing Starfighter

A follow-up to the first UCS set, 10240 Red Five X-wing Starfighter managed to beat the previous version in terms of size with a 1,554 piece count when it was launched in 2013. The increased dimensions of the model allowed for much more detail and, yes, another R2-D2 figure.

1 – 75355 X-wing Starfighter

The latest iteration of the Rebel Alliance’s ship arrives next month and looks to be the most impressive version released to date. With just shy of 2,000 pieces to play around with, the LEGO Star Wars design team seems to have gone to town with accuracy and even included the most detailed version of Luke Skywalker in his Rebel pilot uniform so far.
