Priced at £219.99 / $249.99 / €249.99, 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition offers a mix of display and play value as well as a touch of personalisation. From a letter you can address to yourself to life-sized props recreated with bricks and the detailed Hedwig model at the top of the build, it’s one of the more interesting Harry Potter sets currently available.

2 – 75978 Diagon Alley

For minifigure fans, 75978 Diagon Alley might be more up your street with plenty of exclusive characters to display around the many included shops and services scattered throughout Diagon Alley. As detailed as the exteriors are, the interiors are nothing to glance over either, especially inside Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. This set costs £349.99 / $399.99 / €399.99.

1 – 71043 Hogwarts Castle

However, the rest of the build depicts the recognisable castle at a smaller scale, but it does come with a range of figures to pose and place within the various rooms, including classes, the Great Hall and even Hagrid’s Hut and the Whomping Willow.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
