IKEA LEGO BYGGLEK UK prices confirmed

The UK prices for the upcoming IKEA exclusive LEGO BYGGLEK products have been confirmed.

Last week, the LEGO Group announced a new exclusive range of products for IKEA, known as BYGGLEK. The new storage boxes and set will be released on October 1.

There are four products that will be available; a pack of three small boxes, two packs of bigger boxes and an exclusive LEGO set. Here is the pricing for UK stores:

  • BYGGLEK box with lid, set of 3 – £10.00
  • BYGGLEK box with lid (L26xW18, H12cm) – £12.00
  • BYGGLEK box with lid (L35xW26, H12cm) – £15.00
  • 40357 BYGGLEK 201 piece set – £15

This new storage box range has already turned up at a branch of the furniture giant in Germany. It has taken two years of collaboration for the companies to get these storage boxes, which feature studs on the top to allow for play and customisation, to market.

“BYGGLEK is more than boxes. It is storage and play intertwined,” said LEGO Designer Rasmus Buch Løgstrup when the products were announced. “BYGGLEK provides families with a product range that helps create space for more play in their everyday – fuelling creativity, making it possible to have more fun together. It’s a possibility to play, display the cool creations and return to it to replay, remake, recreate or start over. BYGGLEK is all about endless possibilities, just like the LEGO System in Play.”
