Jurassic World Dominion LEGO set source material revealed

A new image from Jurassic World Dominion has been revealed, showcasing the source material for a set that has yet to be revealed.

Empire has showcased a new screen from Jurassic World Dominion, which arrives in cinemas on June 10. Those who are caught up with the latest from the LEGO Group’s corresponding wave of sets based on the film might recognise this scene, as it features a familiar dinosaur that is new for the franchise.

The Giganotosaurus will make its debut in Jurassic World Dominion, and the early image features the dinosaur flanking a group of characters including Alan Grant and Owen Grady while a lab sits in the background.

That premise should sound familiar, as it’s also the subject of the models in 76949 Giganotosaurus & Therizinosaurus Attack. While that LEGO Jurassic World Dominion model has yet to be officially revealed, it’s already been spotted online and in stores.

The vehicle that the group are hiding behind isn’t present in the set, though we’ve yet to see the full context for this scene. It being overturned near the dinosaur may remind you of the Jurassic Park scene that inspired 76956 T. rex Breakout.
