Something sus is going on with the latest LEGO Ideas project to make it past 10,000 supporters in the first review round of 2024.
Shooting to new levels of success during the pandemic as a way for people to play games with one another from lockdown, Among Us has now inspired a LEGO Ideas submission on one of its maps: Among Us: The Skeld. It includes a collection of colourful Crewmates (and Impostors) to play with, kitted out with a varied array of accessories to take the virtual game into brick-built reality.
Many of the same locations from the digital Skeld have been captured in the set, including the Cafeteria, Storage, Electrical, Reactor, and much more. The would-be set is made up of 2,998 pieces and is built in a diorama style, with an open ceiling allowing for easy access to all of the rooms.
This is the first set from fan designer BrickRealm101 to make it past 10,000 supporters on the LEGO Ideas platform and Among Us: The Skeld becomes the ninth project of the first 2024 review.
