LEGO 10326 Natural History Museum mods arrive early

We’re still a week away from the release of LEGO 10326 Natural History Museum but modifications and expansions for the modular are out already.

There’s just less than a week away from the official launch of 10326 Natural History Museum – the latest entry in the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection – but some are eager to customise the creation. Despite the model not yet being available, a couple of Rebrickable users are already imagining modifications and expansions for it.

BrickStudioArchitect has digitally devised how to combine two copies of the biggest LEGO modular building ever designed to make room for more exhibits including a second dinosaur skeleton.

However, Brick Artisan’s idea is to expand on the base design of 10326 Natural History Museum with a tour agency and café to place on either side of the building as well as another exhibit that uses 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb for a quicker and easier expansion.

However, these modifications and expansions are entirely digital for the time being as the set has yet to be released. Though, some users on Reddit are reporting to have received their copies early. This appears to include BruhTheSinner who has added a spooky flair to the modular museum, just too late for the Halloween season.

Still, the overgrown plants and boarded-up windows give 10326 Natural History Museum a different aesthetic, similar to something you might see in The Last of Us. All of these are the customisation and changes being made to the new modular before its launch and it bodes well for the creativity of the community once everyone has it in hand.

10326 Natural History Museum releases on December 1, 2023, with pre-orders open now for £259.99 / $299.99 / €299.99. You can read our review by clicking here.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
