LEGO 40588 Flowerpot GWP available now – with bonus returning gift

The latest LEGO gift-with-purchase, 40588 Flowerpot, is now available worldwide – with a bonus returning freebie also available in the UK, US and Europe.

Free with all orders above £130 / $150 / €150 until April 24, or while stocks last, 40588 Flowerpot makes for a blooming great addition to a growing LEGO Botanical Collection. The yellow pot – built from pieces originally created for a Trolls hot air balloon – is filled with cherry blossom, pussy willow, billy buttons and more.

It’s not the only gift-with-purchase available at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores right now, however: as in Australia and New Zealand, another freebie is also on offer, and with a lower qualifying threshold. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on what you’re after), it’s not the same brand new 40589 Pirate Ship Playground available down under.

Instead, those of us on the other side of the planet will see 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue added to baskets with purchases above £95 / $100 / €100. The LEGO City gift-with-purchase was originally available in February for the same spend, and is now back again in the US, UK and Europe.

Like 40588 Flowerpot, the ambulance will be available until April 24, or while stocks last. The 162-piece set includes an ambulance, bike, tree and three minifigures, making for a pretty substantial model for the parts involved. If you’ve been holding out on the new-for-April-2023 sets for a tempting gift-with-purchase (or two), this might be the time to strike.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
