LEGO 40594 Houses of the World 3 + bonus GWP available now

The long-awaited LEGO 40594 Houses of the World 3 GWP is now available online and in stores, alongside a bonus gift-with-purchase with select themes.

The third entry in the four-strong Houses of the World series was initially revealed back in June, but has only today debuted at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores. Like its predecessors, 40594 Houses of the World 3 requires a relatively high spend to acquire: you’ll need to order at least £220 / $250 / €250 of sets to see it added to your basket. There are no restrictions on particular themes for that one, though.

It’s a different story for LEGO DREAMZzz polybag 30636 Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape, which is free with a £35 / $40 / €40 spend on sets from the DREAMZzz, City, Friends, Harry Potter, Monkie Kid and NINJAGO themes only. Both of those promos stack, so as long as your order includes at least £35 / $40 / €40 in sets from one of those themes, the rest could come from any theme to qualify for two freebies in a single purchase.

The latest Houses of the World building travels to the Swiss alps for a mountainside lodge, with distinctive log cabin architecture and a pair of gold ski poles. It sits very nicely next to the first two sets in this GWP subtheme, 40583 Houses of the World 1 and 40590 Houses of the World 2 – and if you own those two freebies, you’re going to want a complete collection. It’s the LEGO way.

40594 Houses of the World 3 is available until August 27, while 30636 Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape is available through August 31 in the UK and Europe, and August 21 in the US. That’s also while stocks last, so either or both sets could feasibly sell out before their planned end dates. Check out our review of 40594 Houses of the World 3 here.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
