LEGO Star Wars 6471930 Lucas Yoda Fountain debuts best Yoda minifigure yet

The latest LEGO employee gift has debuted the best Yoda minifigure yet, but there’s no easy way to get it.

6471930 Lucas Yoda Fountain has been revealed by Hal Hickel as an employee gift for Lucasfilm employees to celebrate May the 4th. This recreates the iconic Yoda fountain at the Lucasfilm offices in San Francisco.

However, the minifigure on this fountain model is arguably the most interesting aspect of the set. The render of the gift appears to include dual-moulded short legs on Yoda.

While dual-moulded short legs aren’t new, this seems to be the first time that Yoda has ever used them. The piece appears to be two shades of brown. Green might be more appropriate for the bottom. as Yoda isn’t partial to footwear.

Compared to the most recent Yoda minifigure in 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama, it’s an unprecedented level of detail for the minifigure and a welcome addition.

Unfortunately, employee gifts aren’t easy to find unless someone plans on selling theirs in the aftermarket. This might make the detailed Yoda minifigure harder to find. We can only hope that dual-moulded Yoda finds his way into a future LEGO Star Wars set.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
