Limited edition LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars metal print revealed

To celebrate the recent release of LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars, an official limited edition metal print has been created, with only 225 in existence.

Fortnite players were able to join in with all of the May the 4th celebrations last week, thanks to Epic Games adding a variety of Star Wars-themed content to Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival.

In LEGO Fortnite, gamers have been able to take on the Empire in a free LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure, with new weapons such as lightsabers, bowcasters, DL-44 blasters, E-11 blasters and thermal detonators all up for grabs. More LEGO Styles are also now available, featuring the likes of Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Leia Organa, Finn, Kylo Ren and AWR Trooper outfits.

In addition, a special physical item has been produced to promote the LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars event, although it may prove to be a little tricky to get hold of. Select fan media (including Brick Fanatics) have received a limited edition print as a gift from the LEGO Group and Epic Games based on concept art from the game, which has been printed onto a large sheet of metal.

Each LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars print is individually numbered, with ours being 183/225. The artwork on the print we were sent depicts the opening cutscene from the recent content update, showing an Imperial Star Destroyer emerging from a rift, pursued by Rebel forces. Thanks to the metal peeking through the art, the image has an almost 3D effect and is quite striking to look at when on display.

We don’t know at this stage if all of the limited edition LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars prints feature the same image, but with a total of only 225 existing worldwide, we suspect that fans who do want to get hold of the item may have to look to the secondary market in order to obtain the rare collectible.
