LEGO Harry Potter Gryffindor Dorms GWP revealed

As part of the official online LEGO store’s October offers, a new Harry Potter GWP has been revealed as a display for your collectable wizard cards.

The October store calendar for LEGO.com and physical retail locations has confirmed the rumoured 40452 Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms for release next month, showcasing the very first image for the upcoming promotional set.

Fulfilling the dorm part of the model, two four-poster beds (one just behind the text on the calendar) are included to accommodate Harry and Ron as a decorative rug adorns the floor with a chest on the other side of the room.

Minifigures for Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in their younger years are included but in what is likely the most intriguing part of the set, a blank wall shows a select few of the LEGO Wizarding World trading cards displayed, with room to spare. This shows that the build is supposed to be used as a way to store and show off your collection, perhaps as part of a larger modular Hogwarts Castle creation.

The design for the wall suggests that the plate can slide out for easier placement of the trading cards, but might also leave options for those wanting to display the original painting, or a recreation thereof, from 4722 Gryffindor House.

40452 Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms will be on offer with Harry Potter purchases over $100 in-store and online from October 25 to November 7.
