LEGO Harry Potter GWPs sell out on final day of Back to Hogwarts event

Both LEGO Harry Potter GWPs have sold out in some regions, as the LEGO Group’s Back to Hogwarts celebrations draw to a close today.

Since September 1, the LEGO Group has been celebrating the return to Hogwarts School with a range of promotional events and brand-new sets. Today (September 10) is the final day to make the most of the event, but if you were hoping to get your hands on either of the gifts-with-purchase, 40581 Gringotts Vault or 30651 Quidditch Practice, you might be too late.

40581 Gringotts Vault already sold out after just a couple of days in the UK and Europe and is now unavailable in the United States as well. As of today, 30651 Quidditch Practice is also unavailable online in the UK and Europe, although supplies appear to still be available online in the US at the time of writing.

It’s worth noting that some stores may still have stock of both GWPs, so if you’re keen to get your hands on one and able to get to a physical LEGO Store, that might be your best bet. After all, we’re already seeing 40598 Gringotts Vault going for predictably high prices on the secondhand market and those prices are likely only to increase as the demand goes up and supply becomes limited.

Other LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts promotions are still in place, such as 20% off selected LEGO Harry Potter sets and bundles available for the LEGO Harry Potter House Banners, so make the most of the final day of these promotions today.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
