LEGO Ideas’ castle range is in need of a brave knight

The fan designer of 21333 Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night proposes a unique LEGO Ideas castle set, adding a knight to the first 2025 review.

Shortly after their Go Go Power Rangers! LEGO Megazord project passed into the third 2025 review, legotruman already has a second project in the first 2025 review with their Medieval Knight sculpture. Though a piece count is not provided, the model measures 24cm wide, 29cm long and 37.6cm tall.

Their build consists of an armoured knight atop a horse holding a shield and lance with intricate detailing on both the knight and horse’s armour. A pair of transparent stands help to support the accurate horse sculpture and it all sits on a sturdy, decorated base.

Considering the consistent love for LEGO Castle from the LEGO Group and the community, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this set approved with a LEGO Castle refit, adding customisable elements to represent different factions’ colour schemes and emblems.

Currently, LEGO Ideas’ medieval collection consists of 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale to an extent and an alternate build of 21305 Maze. Whether this project will eventually join those ranks or not, it at least joins the first 2025 review round for now, alongside four other submissions that have reached 10,000 supporters.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
