LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set news coming soon
News on the LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set is confirmed to be coming soon and one important detail about the model has been clarified too.
In a blog post discussing the plans for the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons on D&D Beyond (an official website for the game), it has been confirmed that news on the upcoming LEGO Ideas set is coming soon. A rumour by Instagram user 1414falconfan – via maxbautde – has it that it will be released in April, though this has yet to be confirmed.
For Dungeons & Dragons enthusiasts, the blog post also discusses new books and events and offers a free wallpaper. The section mentioning merchandise also confirms that minifigures are still part of the LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set.
Six minifigures were proposed in the original project by BoltBuilds, covering a mix of magic and physical classes from the tabletop roleplaying game but whether the official model will keep all of these or opt for more or fewer characters has yet to be announced.
The blog post is a promising sign that a reveal could be coming soon and should the rumours of an April release be accurate, time is running relatively short to lift the curtain on this set. Either way, it’s likely coming this year as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations for Dungeons & Dragons since it was mentioned in this blog post. Remember to take all rumours with caution until more is officially confirmed.
