LEGO Ideas Earth Globe rumoured release date and more details

A new LEGO Ideas rumour has surfaced online, detailing a potential release date and piece count for the upcoming The Earth Globe set.

Instagram user lego_club_news has stated in a story what they believe to be new details for the LEGO Ideas The Earth Globe set, which may have the model number 21332. According to the source, LEGO Ideas 21332 The Earth Globe is planned to release in February or March of 2022.

The rumours suggest that the build will be made up of around 2,800 bricks with a price of $199.99. The number of bricks would put it between 21318 Tree House and 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay in size.

Nothing more is said about the upcoming build, with the only confirmed information currently being that it is in development from the fan-designed submission by Guillaume Roussel which was revealed as the winner of its review stage towards the end of 2020.

“We’re super excited when we have the opportunity to bring something never before seen into the LEGO portfolio of products,” said LEGO Ideas Design Manager Sam Johnson when the Earth Globe was initially announced as a future set. “We’ve never even attempted anything like this before, so we’re excited to try out some crazy new building techniques, really show off what LEGO can do.”

Also rumoured for release in 2022 is another LEGO Ideas model confirmed to be on the way – Sonic Mania – Green Hill Zone. This could align with a recent listing that suggested that two LEGO Ideas builds were coming in early 2022.
