LEGO Ideas welcomes Scooby Doo Mystery Machine for the second time

A mysterious LEGO Ideas project has gained 10,000 supporters – for the second time.

Designed by Let Them Fly, Scooby Doo Mystery Machine has made it into the second review stage of 2023, almost two years after a similar set from the same designer achieved the feat for the first time. There are a few changes made to the design, namely with. the inclusion of an enormous replica of Scooby Doo’s name tag that acts as a platform for the five minifigures: Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Fred.

The interior of the van has also been adapted, with fresh accessories and seats for the crime-fighting gang to enjoy.

Should it receive approval, the Mystery Machine would not mark the LEGO Group’s first foray into crafting sets inspired by the beloved Hanna-Barbera cartoon. In 2015, an entire series of Scooby-Doo sets, designed to scale with minifigures, was introduced. Among them was the 302-piece set, 75902 The Mystery Machine, which featured a smaller but faithful rendition of the iconic vehicle utilised by the gang.
