Upcoming LEGO Insiders Weekend Castle GWP has great timing

LEGO 40601 Majisto’s Magical Workshop has been revealed as a LEGO Insiders Weekend GWP, and it’s the perfect time to catch up on Castle.

The Australian online store has confirmed that 40601 Majisto’s Magical Workshop is one of this year’s LEGO Insiders Weekend gifts-with-purchase and though its regional thresholds have yet to be confirmed, the $400 threshold could be around £220 / $250 / €250 in the UK, US and Europe.

As the name suggests, this is a modern-day remake of 6048 Majisto’s Magical Workshop from LEGO Castle. It’s not the first LEGO Castle remake, or entirely new set, in recent years and thankfully, that is to your advantage.

Though the exact thresholds have yet to be confirmed, 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle is almost certain to pass them at £344.99 / $399.99 / €399.99. This set includes the same Majisto minifigure as the massive Castle model but otherwise should pair well with the build and give Majisto a proper place to practice his magic without fear of burning down the castle.

Those with other plans for the LEGO Insiders Weekend might consider 21325 Medieval Blacksmith instead for £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99 before it retires later this year and to build a medieval or fantastical world. While it’s not available for purchase, it’s worth noting that the 40567 Forest Hideout GWP is a remake of 6054 Forestmen’s Hideout too.

Whatever your plans this LEGO Insiders Weekend, it seems likely that 40601 Majisto’s Magical Workshop is going to be available for free with qualifying purchases worldwide. With days remaining before the event starts on November 18, we can likely expect more details soon.
