LEGO Marvel 76285 Spider-Man’s Mask unveiled

LEGO Marvel finally brings the friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler to its masks, busts and helmets range in 2024 with 76285 Spider-Man’s Mask, unveiled today by a LEGO Certified Store.

Launching January 1, 76285 Spider-Man’s Mask will be available only days after 76187 Venom retires – and a full year after 76199 Carnage left shelves. The symbiotic relationship between these sets (or lack thereof) notwithstanding, the newest addition to the range makes heavy use of large printed elements to build out the web-slinger’s head, standing in contrast to the previous two Spider-Man characters in this range.

It means we’re looking at a significantly skewed price-per-piece ratio, as 76285 Spider-Man’s Mask only includes 487 parts – but is due to retail for $99.99 in Australia (according to Bricks Megastore). That’s $10 more than both 76187 Venom and 76199 Carnage, each of which retailed for £59.99 in the UK. But it’s $30 less than 76251 Star-Lord’s Helmet costs in Australia, and that 2023 set retails for £69.99 in the UK.

Such wide disparity makes 76285 Spider-Man’s Mask’s international pricing tricky to predict, but the safe money is on somewhere in the region of £65 to £70. We’ll hopefully find out for sure later today if this brand new LEGO Marvel 2024 set finds its way to LEGO.com. Keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for more on 76285 Spider-Man’s Mask as we get it.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
