New LEGO Marvel Eternals set features hidden mini model

One new LEGO Marvel Eternals set features a miniature model of another build in the wave, marking the second appearance of a certain Celestial.

With the upcoming Eternals movie’s release date approaching, the LEGO Group have a range of Marvel creations ready to launch on October 1, but did you know that the largest set in the subtheme references another powerful figure outside of the main cast?

76156 Rise of the Domo depicts the Eternal’s home ship with a spacious, triangular interior. Replicating the base seen in the final trailer for the movie, one chamber featuring a statue is even referenced. That crystalline red figure seen in the room depicts Arishem, a Celestial and presumed creator of the team.

The name of the Celestial statue is likely to be familiar as the second-largest set in the LEGO Marvel Eternals wave, 76155 In Arishem’s Shadow depicts the sizable character at a scale more accurate to their power level.

The appearance of Arishem in two models within the range is not only accurate to the film but also serves as a cost-effective method for collectors who want some brick-built representation of every member of the Eternals and their allies – including Arishem.

Making use of LEGO roller skate pieces for the head and a reversed Star Wars droid body for the chest, this microscale Celestial is just as imposing as the bigger equivalent, but does not feature the same lighting feature exclusive to 76155 In Arishem’s Shadow.

Both 76156 Rise of the Domo and 76155 In Arishem’s Shadow, as well as the other two Eternals sets 76154 Deviant Ambush! and 76145 Eternals’ Aerial Assault, will be available starting October 1 from the official online store, with the titular film following later on November 5.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
