June 1 is one of the biggest LEGO shopping days of the year and 2023 is no exception. There are dozens of new sets across several themes, including some particularly exciting highlights like 71799 NINJAGO City Markets and 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade. If you’ve been struggling to choose what to spend your June 1 budget on, the Brick Fanatics readers might be able to help.

7 – LEGO Disney 71038 Disney 100

Before most of the world thinks we’re living in the past, this one comes from our Australian readers. LEGO 71038 Disney 100 will be appearing down under for the first time from June 1, offering Australian LEGO fans the chance to get their hands on the array of unique minifigures, released in honour of Disney’s 100th birthday. With 71038 Disney 100 temporarily out of stock on the UK’s official LEGO website, we’d advise our Australian friends to try and grab your favourites while they can.

6 – LEGO Harry Potter

In the rest of the world on June 1, there are plenty of LEGO Harry Potter sets on their way, from the dual-build 76414 Expecto Patronum to the over-1,000-piece 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station. Several of our readers said that the summer wave had captured their eye and they will be saying ‘accio’ to some of the upcoming releases.

5 – LEGO Batman 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box

While LEGO Batman 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box has divided opinions on whether it’s worth the hefty price tag, it’s still top of the price list for some of our readers. Now, technically speaking 76252 isn’t out until June 5 for VIPs and June 8 for everyone else, but it’s still one to keep an eye out for as we head into a new month.

4 – LEGO Jurassic Park

While 76961 Visitor Center: T. rex & Raptor Attack might be slightly underwhelming for the price and after so many years of hype, there’s still plenty to get excited about – even purely based on the new dinosaur elements. For example, we finally have our long-awaited brachiosaurus in the Jurassic World’s return to the classic movies, all in honour of Jurassic Park’s 30th birthday this year.

3 – LEGO Disney

Speaking of birthdays, the Disney 100 celebrations continue, with a number of sets tracking different films, characters, and themes throughout the company’s last century. Whether you want to keep it small with 43226 Disney Duos or splash out on the impressive display piece of 43227 Villain Icons, plenty of people are keen to add some more LEGO Disney sets to their collections.

2 – LEGO NINJAGO

It’s no wonder that LEGO NINJAGO is heading up people’s shopping lists, with a whopping 14 different sets, including the theme’s biggest model of all time: 71799 NINJAGO City Markets. As well as the poop-slinging giant, there are plenty more mechs, dragons, cars, and so on to celebrate the premiere of NINJAGO’s new series, Dragons Rising, on Netflix.

1 – LEGO Friends 41757 Botanical Garden

There are a few LEGO Friends releases that are catching the eye of adults, not just younger builders, but chief among them is 41757 Botanical Garden. The unique dome element for the glassed garden is particularly appealing, as well as the array of brightly coloured flowers, butterflies, and greenery. Whether you want to build it as instructed or use the vibrant pieces to build something new, it’s sure to be a popular set next month.
