Every LEGO set launching June 1, 2023 – Star Wars, NINJAGO, Harry Potter and more

One of the busiest LEGO shopping days of the year is nearly here, with dozens of sets launching June 1. Here’s a round-up of every single brand new product coming our way next week.

From Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel to Friends, City and NINJAGO, almost all of the LEGO Group’s current major themes are about to get a fresh injection of new sets. June 1 might just be the biggest day for new releases this year, in fact, with a whopping 79 products landing at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores in the UK and Europe. (Some of these sets won’t launch in the US until August.)

Throw in up to two gifts-with-purchase that will hopefully still be available by next week, and there’s never been a trickier time to decide what to buy. The good news is that you can take some of the pressure off by bookmarking this list of new launches, to ensure you’re at least across all the potential options. Dive in for the complete rundown.

LEGO City

There’s a bumper wave of LEGO City sets right around the corner, as the evergreen theme continues its renaissance under the purview of new Creative Lead Simon Lucas. Highlights include a mix of the Arctic and Deep Sea subthemes in sets like 60368 Arctic Explorer Ship and 60379 Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine, along with the theme’s biggest set to date in 60380 Downtown.

LEGO Harry Potter

Sets from across the Harry Potter saga join the Wizarding World theme in June, from smaller takes on direct-to-consumer sets to a positively adorable Dobby build. There’s also a 2-in-1 Patronus statue in 76414 Expecto Patronum (maybe just buy two?), and another Deathly Hallows set in 76415 The Battle of Hogwarts. Bonus (for some): three new BrickHeadz double-packs.

Waka-waka, here comes 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade, hot on the heels of last year’s 10306 Atari 2600 and 2020’s 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System. The ‘80s is good, the ‘80s is great, but surely we’re due for some ‘90s gaming goodness from 2024. Anyway, you’ll be able to get your hands on this interactive arcade machine from June 1 if you’re a VIP member.

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the original Jurassic Park movie (we’re not old, you’re old), and the LEGO Group is getting in on the action with a range of classic sets. It’s what franchise fans have been asking for since the Jurassic World theme debuted in 2015, so fingers crossed these sets are enough to whet your dino-whistle.

LEGO Monkie Kid

A theme that still flies under the radar four years into its shelf life, Monkie Kid continues to pump out some of the best designs you’ll find on LEGO Store shelves. Or at least at LEGO.com, because these sets are pretty hard to find in physical brick-and-mortar locations. Our pick from this wave is easily 80048 The Mighty Azure Lion, a beast/mech hybrid with a terrific colour scheme.

May was pretty big for LEGO Star Wars, so just one set is launching on June 1. On one hand, it’s the first-ever Jedi Temple. On the other, it’s a 4+ set based on the Disney+ series Young Jedi Adventures. You win some, you lose some. The minifigures and some of the pieces at least look pretty interesting to older builders.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
