LEGO Overwatch may be cancelled

A rumour has been published suggesting that the LEGO Overwatch theme may have been cancelled, with the anticipated third wave not likely to be released.

Long-running LEGO website the Brick Fan reports the rumour that LEGO Overwatch has been cancelled. It seemed that six new sets would on the way later this year, but this new information suggests those products will never see release.

One possibility is that with the release of Overwatch 2 delayed, the sets may have been delayed too, as has happened with Minions: The Rise of Gru.

As ever, this should be taken with a pinch of salt until there is an official announcement from the LEGO Group.
